Hekkie Budler is crowned world boxing champion
ALBERTON – Hekkie Budler, multiple world boxing champion, is a man in a thousand after another “boxer of the year”-award was bestowed on this likable young man.
For the second year running Hekkie walked away with the East Rand Veterans Boxing Association’s boxer of the year award at the association’s prize-giving.
Former world champion Piet Crous and Kit Markotter (right) celebrated with Hekkie his well-deserved recognition.
