JKA South members bring home the medals
JKA South Bassonia students and instructors did themselves proud at the SA JKA National Dan gradings held in March.
Altogether 33 JKA South Bassonia students were selected to represent Karate Syndicate at the highly prestigious South African JKA National Championship held earlier this year.
The members did themselves and the instructors proud, bringing home a total of 23 medals, including 11 gold, seven silver and five bronze.
Classes for all ages and belt levels are held under the instruction of senior instructors Bruce Smith (6th Dan), Gert Aucamp (5th Dan) and Karyn Smith (4th Dan) from Monday to Thursday.
