Ladies champion crowned
Marne Roos (26) was crowned Ladies Golf Champion at the recently held Club Championships at Reading Country Club.
ALBERTON – This is the second year in a row Marne walked away with the title, after shooting a 77 on the Saturday and an 84 on the Sunday.
Marne is a tennis coach at Killarney Country Club, and though she loves golf, her real dream is one day to open her own tennis academy. Her best round of golf ever – a 69 at Zwartkop Country Club in Pretoria.
