Feast of Wheelchair Tennis action
SA Open is part of the UNIQLO World Tour with the Airports Company South Africa SA Open being a Super Series event.
The finals of the Airports Company South Africa SA Open, one of the world’s top wheelchair tennis tournament will take place on Saturday April 18.
The finals will be shown from 09:00 to 13:50 on SuperSport Select South Africa live from the Ellis Park Tennis Stadium in Johannesburg.
The world’s best wheelchair tennis players will be competing for top honours and the SA Open title.
Commentators for the finals will be former wheelchair tennis ace Kevin Smith and Pietie Norval, a former ATP Tour player, South African Davis Cup player and silver medalist in the doubles with Wayne Ferreira at the Barcelona Olympic Games.
The Gauteng Open and SA Open sponsored by Airports Company South Africa are part of the UNIQLO World Tour, with the Airports Company South Africa SA Open being a Super Series event, one of only six events of its status on the tour.
Most of the world’s top wheelchair tennis players travelled to South Africa for the series.
