160 km ultra-athletes on track

The members of Alberton 160 km medal winners of 2014, Shane van Dam, Gavin Pansegrouw and Johan van Tonder, are on track for this year’s events on the ultra-marathon road-running calendar. This was proved by Shane and Gavin’s medal-winning performances in Two Oceans 56km, with the same finishing time of five hours 26 minutes for their second and fourth Two Oceans medals respectively. Johan van Tonder’s most recent Alberton 8 km time trial times in April proved his readiness.
