Top four at Eastern Gauteng Open tournament
Ten Alberton amateur wrestlers achieved top four positions at the Eastern Gauteng Open tournament.
ALBERTON – LTDP (Development Wrestling):
Top four: Ethan Bezuidenhout (seven years), Tyron Potter (six years) and Leane Loggenberg (women).
Other categories:
u.11: second: Gerhard Pretorius (33-36 kg) and Shaun de Kock (36-39 kg), third: Dewan Kruger (27-30 kg).
u.13: second: Francois Joubert (33-36 kg), third: Abrie Duvenage (42-46 kg) and Stephan Stander (50-54 kg).
u.15: second: Michael de Kock (46-50 kg).
These individual top four positions ensured an overall third place for Alberton Amateur Wrestling Club in the team competition.
