Three-in-a-row for Caldon

Caldon Strimling has won the club captain award at the Alberton Cricket Club prize-giving for the third time in a row.

ALBERTON – Caldon Strimling has won the club captain award at the Alberton Cricket Club prize-giving for the third time in a row.

The award is in recognition of Caldon’s dedication and valuable services to the club.

“Caldon is the most dedicated player at Alberton. He practices three times a week and is the first player to arrive and the last player to leave. He plays every Saturday and Sunday for the top teams, even if he is injured. He also helped the President team to win the league,” said Davian Finnis, the club captain.

Caldon is an off spinner and even though the season is now coming to an end, he is still at the cricket club working harder on his batting and fitness levels.
