Alberton Wrestling Club comes out on top

ALBERTON – Alberton finished first overall, followed by Klerksdorp in second place and Vanderbijl Park in third position.

Alberton wrestlers achieved seven first places, They were: Francois Joubert, Stephan Stander and Ronan Audier in the u.13 section; Michael de Kock, Ruben van den Berg and Thomas Duvenhage in the different u.15 weight groups. Gerhard Pretorius took first place in the u.11 section, 33-36 kilogram.

Other results:

Second places: Abrie Duvenage u.13 in 46-50 kg and Dylan Moolman u.11 in 27-30 kg. Third places: Shaun de Klerk and Dewan Kruger u.11. Development wrestling LTPD top four: Tyron Potter u.6 (also the youngest wrestler at the club), Riaan Kotze u.9 and Donovan Kruger u.10.
