Alberton cricket makes history

Alberton Cricket Club, under chairmanship of Stefan Duvenage, are still creating their own piece of cricket history.

ALBERTON – This is the second year running in which they have won three or more awards at the Gauteng Cricket Board prizegiving.

Three awards were bestowed on the club, namely GCB President League winners, an honorary award given to Joyce Boyack and, for the first time in history, an Alberton player is Premier League Batsman of the Year, namely Juanre Potgieter.
