We don’t want this development

Your development is not welcome and suited.

ALBERTON – I strongly object that the agent and whoever he represents, plans to mess up our neighbourhood and jam-cram it with pigeon hole living while he lives in a beautiful, open, gracious environment.

This notice went up at 60 Phantom Street, Alberante.

He lives in a beautiful protected area. You cannot enter, but you get a good idea of what he had chosen for himself. What he claims for himself, he should equally in the same measure, allow others to claim for themselves and show due respect in this regard, not negotiate disguised contracts behind the backs of residents which will have a devastating effect on the kind of environment they wish to live in.

We live here because we carefully assessed where we wish to reside for good reasons and paid the asking price. He is going to permanently establish and create an undesirable environment here and when he has finished, he will take off to his beautiful estate and leave us to cope with the blunders.

They come from Pretoria and smash up our lives here. Let him rezone the area next to his protected complex, then exchange this piece of land for that one and deface it with his intended structures right next to where he lives.

Your development is not welcome and suited. The residents of the area are the people who know exactly what is needed and should be developed.

Please have respect and stop this madness. You will be building a structure right opposite my house and we, and the occupants detest. I lived in a townhouse and fled from it. It is nerve wrecking to say the least. Give up your beautiful house and cramp yourself into your own ideals which you plan for others.

Very unhappy resident
