Union Bulldogs take on Alberton

Calling on all Union Bulldogs supporters.

UNION Bulldogs first rugby side recorded a great win against Randfontein of 39-22, two weeks ago in the league, which they desperately need to change the picture for them to qualify for the Bailey Cup semi-finals.

On Saturday, August 29, the club will face Alberton in a must win situation. The winner of the game will qualify for the semi- finals. During the season injuries played a role in poor performances.

Under new coach Louis Odendaal and current coach Gert Korff new structures were put in place with former players returning to the club and a new game plan was introduced.

Hard work for the past four weeks paid off against Randfontein with good results.

The club is calling on all former Bulldog players, friends and family to come out to Alberton and support their club in a bit to qualify for the semi’s on September 18 . A special thank you is going out to the club’s current supporters who have carried on supporting the Bulldogs every week.
