ALBERTON – On Monday, August 21, I was on my way back to Midvaal from Springs. At the intersection of Old Vereeniging Road and Potgieter Street, I was the victim of a smash and grab.

A man smashed my window and after a struggle stole my handbag.

I am a pensioner and was travelling on my own so I was very shaken up by the incident. I would like to thank Stefan Benadé and Tyrone Camacho who helped me after the attack and the SAPS officers who took my statement and helped me report the incident.
