EXCITEMENT: Brackenhurst Primary School slearners were eager to take photographs with South African celebrity Loyiso Bala.

SUPERSTAR: Hlayiseka Mashaba performed a traditional American song for festival goers.

RECORDING: Parents supported their children during the different musical acts at the Brackenhurst Primary School heritage festival.

DANCING: The G Squad was one of two gumboot dancing teams which performed on Saturday.

DANNY BOY: Kirsten Downs treated the crowds to a rendition of an Irish folk song.

FOOTWORK: Caitlyn Sanders, a former Brackenhurst student, performed a traditional Spanish dance.

CREW: Ms Khoza’s Brackenhurst Primary School African Dancers took to the floor throughout the day.

FIRE: Dancers from Fire Desire entertained the crowd after 19:00 with a unique performance of fire dancing.
