EMM caught red-handed

Beryl Prins from Brackenhurst writes:

THIS municipal van drove in and parked in the disabled parking bay at the Checkers Brackenhurst on September 2, at 13:30.

Four people got out of the van and walked into Checkers.

Editor’s note: Themba Gadebe, Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality (EMM) spokesperson, responds: ”It is confirmed that the vehicle spotted parked at Checkers Brackenhurst in the disabled parking does indeed belong to the EMM’s fleet.

The vehicle tracking report indicates that the vehicle stopped at Checkers for less than two minutes. The matter has been escalated to the relevant department for further investigation, where the necessary action will be taken, too.
