Brackendowns youngsters win u.10 Heritage Day tournament

FOUR soccer clubs participated in the annual Heritage Day tournament held in Aspen Hills on September 24.

The home side, Aspen Rangers Football Club, faced off against Black Aces, Mondeor Meteors and Rovers. The teams competed in two age groups with the Rovers, from Brackendowns, taking the u.10 crown and Bedfordview’s Black Aces scooping the top honours in the u.15 age group.

Supporters enjoyed live entertainment as the youngsters had fun in the sun with a slippy slide and giant water balls.
