Festival gets learners active

WILLOWMOORE Park was a hub of cricket activity on October 22 when the KFC Mini-Cricket children from Summerfield Primary School got active with Titans and Protea all-rounder, David Wiese, during the Easterns KFC Mini-Cricket Provincial Festival.

Several schools in and around the area were hosted by KFC on the day to enjoy and learn more about fielding, bowling and batting as well as the rules about cricket. KFC encourages children to live active lifestyles through the KFC Mini-Cricket initiative.
