THREE young, enthusiastic rugby players were selected to represent district at 7’s rugby.
Rugby in Alberton is still strong as three young players, who all played for the Alberton Youth Rugby Club u.11 team, were invited by the Titans Rugby Academy to represent them on district level.
The Titans team played in the annual XCO Sevens Rugby Festival for senior primary schools, which was held in Rustenburg, at Sundown Ranch, from October 30 to 31.
Zander du Toit was selected as captain for the Blue team. Lance Lombard and Jean Adendorff represented the White team.
Congratulations to the three of them for this achievement as it is only the best of the best players or teams that competed against each other at this level of rugby.
