ALBERTON – The SPCA hosted a fund-raising golf day on Tuesday, November 10, with over 72 golfers participating.
The prize-giving and auction, following the 18 holes, began after a buffet dinner served at Reading Country Club.
An auction was held simultaneously while the winners of the prizes were announced. Some of the items that were auctioned were: a video camera, a four night stay in a cabana for four people.
The first place prize winners were Marty Stoltz and Malcolm du Preez. Second place was taken by Gerry van Vuuren and Malcolm du Preez. Riaan Adolph and Trevor Smith were ranked in third position.
Richard Claasen had the longest drive on the day. Kyle Botha received the nearest pin prize, while Ed Evans was the winner of the raffle.
