ALBERTON – At its annual general meeting to end the year’s activities, the Alberton Central Sport Council adopted a resolution to accept a name change and for the council to be known future as Alberton Sport Council. The first elected committee of the new Alberton Sport Council: Front: Lisa Wade, Annelien Holroyd, Mark Harrison (president), Abrie Pienaar (vice-president) and Paola Harrison. Back: Manny de Sousa, Johann Coetzee (retiring president), Mark Holroyd and Sarel Pretorius.
