David, his uncle and the man who started it all, gave him much motivation. Wayne said, “He guided me and helped us to grow and he is still involved.”
What he learnt in the 14 years was that people can be challenging and rewarding. In an interview with the RECORD, he said that the one thing he would have done differently was to take more chances earlier in the business. He also said that he sees failure as a challenge to improve and as a way of learning. “We do not focus on the negatives.”
Wayne enjoys building networks. He is like a child with a new toy when there is a new network. “This is my passion and I enjoy every single minute of it,” he said. Business Services’ goal is to expand and retain its customer base and to make customers its main focus. Wayne’s personal goal is to make the network the biggest in South Africa.
