The human regurgitater

STEVIE Starr wowed crowds at Emperors Palace with his amazing, jaw-dropping act on Saturday, 12 March, at 20:00.

The ‘Professional Regurgitator’, as Starr is also known, was born Steven Wright on 13 December 1962, in Glasgow, Scotland.

Starr has been doing his act for many years and has been in many countries, showing what he can do. Many have questioned whether what he does is even possible, so they often regard him as an illusionist rather than a “regurgitator”.

Starr is well known for his appearance in the finals of ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, as well as ‘America’s Got Talent’, but he has participated in many different countries’ versions of the franchise and regularly makes it to the final.

His show at Emperors Palace was a fun affair, and Starr is clearly a seasoned professional who knows how to incorporate humour and crowd participation. He also goes off on little tangents, telling stories during his act.

“When I was in America, I saw a toll gate up ahead and I swallowed some change. Upon arriving at the window, I asked how much it is, the lady in the booth told me, and like it was the most normal thing in the world, I brought up the coins, gave it to her, said thank you, and drove away”, Starr told the audience. It was one of his many anecdotes of mischief.
