Men’s hockey ends on a high

All in all Alberton men’s A had a good season, with some excellent results.

ALBERTON men’s hockey team ended the season on a high with its final league fixture on the first Sunday of September against Old Parks. In their final away games for August, Alberton men recorded a great away victory over MMC 1-0 and trounced Bedfordview by 5-0.

All in all Alberton men’s A had a good season, with some excellent results. The season started five months back with a 1-1 draw to Wits, followed by victories of 7-2 over Khosa and 5-2 against Lions.

A defeat of 1-3 to CBC was reverting with a 4-1 victory over Bedfordview. A draw of 3-3 to Old Parks was followed-up by victories of 2-0 over Wits and 6-0 against Old Parks, before another loss of 0-3 to CBC followed.
