The Karabo Centre for mathematics, science and commerce launched a project in 2012 whereby it provides extra classes in mathematics and physical sciences on weekends and public holidays to learners from the Vosloorus community.
Joy Global Mining Solutions partnered with the Karabo Centre to fund it and support its initiative.
