A TRILOGY of boxing tournaments will commence this coming weekend in Alberton when the Eliminator One tournament takes place at a new entertainment venue, Apache’s Pub and Grill, in Alrode.
Boxing will start at 11:00.
The venue is a large warehouse refurbished into a place that will be every promoter’s dream and hopefully the Box Office can establish it as the Gilmore Masters fight venue.
Anton Gilmore, representing Gilmore Masters Promotion, will introduce the stakeholders of the trilogy of events that will culminate in the Gauteng lightweight champion being crowned at the Southern Giant Weekend on October 30.
Boxers from in and around Johannesburg will participate in the first event on Sunday, August 14. The event is sponsored by Hunters Fitment Service Centre and Parts, MPR, Kia, Williams Hunt, Studio-88, Johannesburg City and Sub Zero.
