Feedback from prepaid electricity meter users welcome

Are there any rate-payers who have changed to electrical prepaid meters some time ago who could share their experiences?

Are there any ratepayers who have changed to electrical prepaid meters some time ago who could share their experiences?

I would like to find out about ups and downs, holidays and periods away (how it affected their consumption) and purchasing of electricity, like how many kWh (kilowatt hours) one gets for Rands spent, etc.

Any knowledge they can pass on to a person who has just had a prepaid meter installed. Virtually nothing was explained on installation regarding costs or operational procedures. I have been unable to get feedback from the municipality as they do not answer phones or emails. Should there be someone willing to impart some information, I can be emailed directly if they so wish at Almendro@absamail.co.za.
