We as the Goldswain family want to thank the Alberton Veterinary Clinic staff, Lexi Phillips, the receptionist, Dr MacDonald Mahoso, the vet, and Tedmore Mathias (assistant) for their excellent service and help they gave us with our sick puppy, “Blackie”.
Blackie was like a child to us, like all our animals are in our household. He fell ill and I took him to the closest vet, which is quite new in our area (Verwoerd Park). We are first-time visitors at this vet, and Blackie received the best help possible. The doctor is so loving, compassionate and caring towards the animals. He was so thorough in his diagnosis, he did not rush the procedure and took his time to explain it all to us.
He is so understanding and sees the love between an animal and the owner.
Unfortunately, Blackie did not make it. We will miss him very much, but he received the best treatment and love from Dr MacDonald and his staff.
The vet and area where they keep the animals are so clean and tidy, you feel comfortable in leaving your baby there.
We just want to thank them all for the love and concern they showed Blackie and to us as animal lovers.
I have great respect in the work they do, as you can see the love they have for animals, it shows in their eyes and the way they handle the animals.
Dr MacDonald is an exceptional vet and I will never hesitate to take any of my other dogs or cats to him, as he treats them like we treat our animals, like children and with love.
Thank you for all you have done.
