Broken Wings says goodbye

Maureen Ansett is a role model for us and we will miss her at the meetings.

It is with regret that I announce that Maureen Ansett, President of Broken Wings for 15 years has retired, due to illness.

Maureen and Lettie Bardone established Broken Wings in 1998 as a day care centre for adults with disabilities. She did all our legal negotiations and she worked effortlessly for Broken Wings. If she commits to do something you can depend that she will do it. She is a role model for us and we will miss her at the meetings. She will be an honorary member of Broken Wings and we wish her everything of the best for the future.
