Jewels of India 2 glitters

Bollywood spectacular, Jewels of India 2, at Emperors Palace.

The Bollywood extravaganza of song and dance, Jewels of India 2, will head to The Palace of Dreams for one show only, on November 13.

Following the success of the original show, which was staged earlier this year, Zed Kay Productions have produced this sequel, that features international singing sensation Naushad Ali Kawa and a host of other talented local artists.

A former Indian Idols finalist, Kawa is a trained classical and Sufi singer from Jaipur who currently teaches music in Paris.

Sharing the stage with this passionate artist are vocalists Shainul Ramjee (Canada), Imran Aslam (Pakistan) and local singers Suraj Jeewan, Vandana Naran, Sarika Bikaroo and Gonna Pillay.

All the artists will perform to the beats of the immensely talented percussionists Punjabi Dhol Playe and Vivek Parshottam, as well as the masterful 10-piece live orchestra from Durban, the Bollywood Show Band.

Bollywood music lovers can also look forward to an energetic performance from exotic oriental fire dancers.

Produced by well-known entertainment personality Zubair Khan (aka DJ Zuby), CEO of Zed Kay Productions and The SA Legend’s Award Winner 2012, Khan has worked on numerous successful stage productions and is committed to producing the very best Bollywood music extravaganzas.

The show will be performed at 15:00 in the Theatre of Marcellus.
