KFC Mini-Cricket participants attended the double-header CSA T20 Challenge matches at Bidvest Wanderers Stadium, which took place on Saturday, November 12.
The CSA T20 Challenge’s dual billing had the Knights from the Free State defeating the Cape Cobras, before the local bizhub Highveld Lions defeated the Multiply Titans.
Banele Buthelezi from Nomini Primary School assisted Aaron Phangiso of the bizhub Highveld Lions with the coin toss; when the professional team needed to know if they or their Titans opposition would have the initial advantage, of deciding whether to bat or bowl first.
Through KFC Mini-Cricket, Banele has received the opportunity to meet his cricketing heroes who have inspired him. KFC Mini-Cricket provides opportunities for all involved in the programme to grow, develop and shine.
