I recently bought my son a vehicle in Tzaneen, in my name, for use in his business as tour guide.
My major concern was how was I going to get this vehicle registered in my name, as I’m based in Alberton. As a result, I took time off work to complete this exercise. When I got to the licensing department, they were most helpful and guided me in every way. I got the vehicle registered in my name within 35 minutes. My next concern was how to get the certificate of fitness certificate.
They guided me in a very professional manner and explained to me exactly what to do. That afternoon, my son sent me all the documents from the Phalaborwa authorities, which I then took back to the licensing department. Without any hassle, they assisted me and I managed to get the CoF that same day. All this and it took much less than an hour.
