ALBERTON’S athletes have had a very successful year and hopefully the trend will continue into 2017.
The celebrated athletes from the Diamond Athletics Club and Alberton Athletics Club are:
Cheswill Johnson, CGA (Central Gauteng Athletics) champion, Danie Smit (Gauteng Primary Schools champion and silver medalist at the National Championships B10 division), Joshua Mostert (fifth, photo finish, at Primary Schools National Championships, B11 division),
Tanya Ehrke (bronze at Senior Secondary Gauteng Championships, G17 division,
Carl Janse van Rensburg (Gauteng 80-metre champion and silver medalist at National Championships) and Jonathan Wakefield (Prestige Championship gold in 400-metres, B18 division).
