I am a concerned citizen from Brackendowns in Alberton.
Regarding the 2017 refuse removal calendar, this January I went to the website and again today (February 16), because to my surprise, the 2016 refuse calendar is still on the website.
I called 086 054 300 – no help received, only numbers I must call: 011 861 2152 and 011 999 2368. No one ever answers the phone.
Can someone please update the 2017 refuse removal calendar or send it with our Ekurhuleni tax invoice.

Themba Gadebe, spokesperson for the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality, responded: “The refuse removal programme has just been recently approved by the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality’s Waste Management Services and our communication and brand management department has been requested to upload it on the website for accessibility.
“Residents are requested in the meantime to follow the same days of waste collection, since there will be no change in schedule days for waste collection.”
