South Africa Search & Rescue would like to thank the two people for the donations for the family that lost their house due to a fire and are now temporary residents in Alberton.
We delivered some clothes this evening. If you have any toys, blankets, clothes men’s size 36 women size 32/34, boy size 5/6 and baby stuff (six months) please contact us and we will collect.
The family is in a dire situation. The man will still be hospitalised for a very long time due to burns he incurred while trying to save his family. He single-handedly saved his wife and son and also two sisters in law and their husbands and the baby. A true hero! Even though he was severely burnt, he still tried to extinguish the fire until the fire department arrived.
