Alberton Gymnastics Club excels yet again

The national gymnastics competition took place in Pretoria from October 1-8.

ALBERTON Gymnastics Club enjoyed its most successful year at National Gymnastics Games recently, with its level four to eight gymnasts coming away with 33 medals in total.

The national gymnastics competition took place in Pretoria from October 1-8.

OVERALL FIRST PLACE WINNERS: Cayla Janse van Vuuren, Shayli Sanders, Dené Jordaan and Buhle Nhleko.

“Of the nine provinces that took part, we took home the second-most medals,” said Cecile Prinsloo, head coach at the club.

The club entered 28 gymnasts in the competition, making their 33-medal haul a truly impressive achievement.
