The law cannot pass rulings that interfere with how children are brought up by their parents. If parents do not give their child a little smack if they are naughty, then they do not love them enough.
In some instances, it is understandable as there are severe cases out there where children are badly hurt and abused by their parents regularly and this usually surfaces at schools where those children are the bullies as they then take it out on others. Those are the children who are sirens that the courts need to investigate into those families in their own capacities.
The rest should just go on being good parents.
