Referring to article “Another tree bites the dust”
Residents are complaining that the trees are cut but council members hardly ever clean up after their work is done.
Whenever I read these articles I keep thinking to myself and why oh why are we so surprised? In Brackenhurst we have one advantage – they cut them so nicely but then they lie around on the pavements for days before being collected!
Would it not make sense to cut and load – cut and load? You can move along getting onto the next road but two jobs are done and you leave the place nice and tidy – will save petrol in the long run!
