Young footballers’ first game day
Alberton Football Club's u-6 team took part in their first ever tournament.
ALBERTON Football Club’s u-6 team took part in their first ever tournament on February 25.
The tournament was held at Edenvale Football Club and the boys played three games against teams from both Edenvale and Bedfordview. Despite playing with growing confidence as the day drew on they, unfortunately, lost all their games. The team is content with their performance as they have only been practising together for three weeks. “Everyone had a great day of fun in the sun,” says coach Dane Cookson.
Young Emmanuel Obi was awarded goalkeeper of the tournament.
