Cricket boys make Marais Viljoen proud

Marais Viljoen cricket player chosen as captian.

HOËRSKOOL Marais Viljoen High School cricket players Khaya Nyamathe and Neil Bothma can walk proudly as they did a fantastic job for the Coca-Cola All-Star team recently.

Khaya Nyamathe batted at number six and had the honour to captain the first ever All-Star team. This he did well and lead his team to a 15-run victory over a very strong South Africa Hubs team.

WELL DONE: Marais Viljoen cricket players Neil Bothma and Khaya Nyamathe with a member of the Coca-Cola All-Star team.

Bothma batted at number five and got the All-Star team rolling with a couple of boundaries after they were in deep trouble early on in their innings. Bothma had a fantastic day behind the stumps and was involved in four dismissals.

Both Nyamathe and Bothma showed that they can more than compete at this level and people should take note when they play.

“Boys, well done. We are extremely proud of you,” the school wrote on their social media page.
