Flashback to tennis tournament
Sportsmans Warehouse annual summer tournament at Bracken Tennis Club, will be held this year from December 1 to 5.
BRACKENHURST – In a flashback to last year’s event, it is evident that several new winners were produced back then.
The intermediate one doubles winners at the Bracken Tennis Academy Sportsmans Warehouse summer tournament were: Mikael Thomas and Aidan Matthews, Tsolo Kitsane and Daniella Hunter second and Ruby Pitaco and Megan Dickson third. Mikael Thomas also won the intermediate singles title.
In the advanced section, Sean Bodie walked away with both titles, partnered with Kenny van Graan in the doubles. The runners-up were Dino Harrison and Dean Lang, with Chelsea Briton and Dario Mgino in third place. Dino Harrison was also the advanced singles runner-up.
The intermediate two double winners were Miguel Hunter and Tyler Vermeulen, with Antonio de Nobrega and Fabio Lopes in second place and Michaela van Nierop and Anthony Boden third. Matthew Grobler emerged as the winner of the intermediate two singles.
The big question now is how many of these previous winners will again walk away with the awards on December 5.
