Alberton karateka take home nine medals
Sansei shows their mettle at Free State Championship.
FOUR students from Sansei Goju Ryu Karate and Kobudo Alberton took part at Sansei Free State Championships in Sasolburg on September 7 and 8.
Out of the four students that took part from the Alberton dojo they brought back nine medals. Jan van Jaarsveld was given a special trophy by Hanshi James Vermaak for being the oldest competitor at the championship. Jan is 64 years old.
