STUDENTS from the Cobras Shotokan Karate club in Brackenhurst recently took part at the Shorin-Ryu Shorinkan Gauteng North karate competition, and 19 of them returned home with 33 medals.
The Senseis are proud of the outstanding achievements of these students.
Medal winners are: Alexander Aucamp with one gold and one bronze; Joshua Sheriff one silver, one bronze; Bokang Sigasa two golds; Alex Holm one gold, one bronze; Augusto Kentsop two bronzes; Evan Sheriff two golds; Bokamoso Makhene one silver, one bronze; Lesego Diphoko one silver, one bronze; Darshal Chinia one silver, one bronze; Juan Crous one silver, one bronze; Reatlegile Moleleki two silvers; Samukelisiwe Madonsela two golds; Musa Sono one gold, one silver; Kieran Fish two golds; Hayden Fish one bronze; sensei Laurent Gaston-Bellegarde one gold; Daniel van Wyk one gold; Mpilo Mathenjwa one gold and Ryan Hovell-Erasmus one bronze. The Cobras Shotokan Karate club train on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5.30pm to 6.30pm at Glenview Primary School in Brackenhurst.
