Nobody enters my property at all, ever.

This would imply that people away at work must make special arrangements for security and pet safety.

So the Ekurhuleni Town Council has decided to embark on the same road which cost Tshwane City Council billions of rand in lost revenue, and permanent debt for having pre-paid metering installed by subcontractors.

I do not recall having been advised previously of this ruling by our council, but I may have missed the announcement.

I question why it is necessary for the contractor’s employees to enter private premises when meters are all outside on the pavements.

This would imply that people away at work must make special arrangements for security and pet safety.

Some pre-paid meter installations already done have been completed without access to private premises, at least three in the meter kiosks serving a portion of the street I reside in.

Having experienced a home invasion some three years ago with guns pressed to the heads of my daughter, wife and myself, and being bound hand and foot and robbed of cash, car and valuables, nobody enters my property at all, ever.
