GALLERY: Miss and Master High Gatsby pageant
After a diverse range of learners strutted and posed on the catwalk, the judges had the final say.
ALBERTON High School recently had their annual Miss and Master High pageant, this time with a Gatsby theme.
High school learners had the opportunity to participate and show off their timeless style in front of a judging panel. The pageant was split into two categories – casual and evening wear.

The hosts for the evening were Erin McEnroe and Sibusiso Dlamini, who kept the audience entertained with light jokes and introduced all the “Gatsby models” to the stage. After a diverse range of learners strutted and posed on the catwalk, the judges had the final say on who were to be deemed the winners.

After an entertaining evening filled with style and swagger, the winners were chosen. It was a hard decision, but the winners were announced as follows:
Boys: Ethan Langford, Thami Xeketwana, William Lekota, Anele Gumede and Leighland Loretz.
Girls: Annushka Kordom, Jennifer Tsotsetsi, Amogelang More, Kalia Allies, Teighan Griffin-Coetzer, Zinhle Mhlongo, Orianne Jones and Sarah Davis.
Alberton High thanks everyone, not only the winners, but everyone who participated and showed support in this event. Be sure to stay tuned for next year’s Alberton High School Miss and Master High.
