OUT of sheer curiosity, the RECORD asked community members how they were planning to spend their December. Here’s what they shared with us.
JOHAN SCHUTTE: “My wife, Hanta, and I will be riding in Steve Stay-At-Home’s car this December. However, we’ll be spending Christmas day with our two children and their families – we really look forward to it.”SIPHIWE CINDI: “I will be spending time with my family. Maybe I will go away with them to somewhere nice like Durban for a weekend.”LINDI DU PLESSIS: “We are going to the beach this December. I am also going to visit some of my friends and my grandmother where I will then buy Christmas gifts for my family.”FRANSIE BOOYJENS: “Unfortunately I won’t have any off-time in December, as I have to work during our most busy time of the year. Luckily I’ll be getting leave in January when things quiet down again.”TSHEPO MALATJE: “I will go to my family in Limpopo. There I will be doing some DJing and maybe host some events for my family.”HERMAN COETSER: “My wife and I will be setting up a tent beneath a tree next to the ocean, where we’ll camp and relax for two whole weeks. On Christmas day, we’ll relax even more.”
