Potgieter Street needs fixing

Alberton resident raises concerns about Potgieter Street.

The condition of Potgieter Street is a travesty. The problems there have been causing traffic issues for longer than a month and we are fed up.

Why does it take so long to fix a problem that clearly causes inconvenience for so many pedestrians!

Traffic lights are constantly out and the queues in rush hour are unbearable.

EMPD helps regulate traffic but they can only help so much. At night this stretch of road goes from aggravating to downright dangerous.

People disregard the out of action lights and I fear it is only a matter of time before we have a tragic accident.

I have even changed my daily route just to avoid this area!

Please, City of Ekurhuleni, do something to alleviate the headaches and concerns we have of Potgieter Street.
