Alberton Licensing Department is a disgrace

The RECORD was unable to reach the branch as the number given on its website are just ringing.

The Alberton Licensing Department, situated in Alrode, is completely and utterly useless.

I am very disgusted with the poor service delivery at Alberton Licensing Department.

I am now referring to the online article that was published by the RECORD on May 10 whereby it said that Alberton Licensing Department is still operating after a break-in and that they are only accepting cards until further notice.

The article states that residents will be served but that the department can’t handle cash.

The break-in took place between May 7 and May 8.

This is all lies as we went there after the break-in and we noticed that they are not even helping customers.

They will keep on telling us that we should come back the next day.

This is very frustrating as it is costing us time and money to go there daily and it’s also wasting time, something I can not afford.

Again, in this country we must pay, pay, pay and pay and pay for services we don’t get and pay for fraud and corruption and because people aren’t interested in doing their jobs. Just another way they milk us for more and more money.

It truly is a disgrace.
