RESILIENCE Gymnastics Club’s girls achieved excellent results during level one to three competition season.

The season started in April with friendly competition in Brits, which was attended by most of the girls from the club, who received excellent placings.

This was followed by the Central Gauteng district competition in Randburg on May 11.

All 20 girls qualified for the Gauteng provincials and received their junior provincial colours in this competition.

The Gauteng provincials were held in Eldoraigne in May, where all the girls received silver and gold medals and subsequently qualified for the Zone Competition held in Kibler Park on June 14 and June 15.

“Thank you to our gymnasts and their coaches, Ayanda and Zandi Ntsele, for putting in extra hours of training. The results show the dedication to the sport,” said coach Tracy van Herwaarde.

The club, situated in Robertsham, offers boys’ and girls’ artistic gymnastics as well as tumbling.
