Ever so often, I am surprised by Albertonians and the open hearts and hands of this wonderful community.
I am a resident who doesn’t have the means of living a grand lifestyle.
I also know that this is true for many other families in Alberton.
This brings me to why I am writing to the RECORD today. I am writing to thank the good people of Alberton.
Not so long ago, a resident made it possible for a cross-country runner to further his studies overseas.
Also on this week’s front page, I read about another good resident who made a girl’s dream come true.
We might not know who you are, but I know there are many others like you out there who donate to different causes at different times.
I want to thank all of you for having giving hearts.
