MEYERSDAL – Action Arena offers netball, hockey, cricket, volleyball and soccer. Wednesday Night soccer cup league has been introduced as well as a Wednesday night corporate league for all sports. Companies can call regarding the league.
With all the sports, Action Arena do league games and give everyone a chance to play in their finals.
The leagues for the year run as follows: Summer: Feb 5- May 30. Winter: June 4- September 26. Spring: October 1- January 30, 2015.
The league games are played over 15 weeks and each team can play 15 league games and three finals.
“The fantastic thing with action sports is that we can play the whole year through, so we keep the games going and fitness up,” said Shene de Beer.
Action aims at having everyone come and enjoy the sports offered and to relax after a hard day at work.
Not only does the arena have a fully licensed sports bar but Action has been voted the best bar for the past five years. Action also has a restaurant which offers anything from pizzas to a variety of food baskets, while catering for functions can also be organised.
Kiddies birthday parties, team building, company days and the arena can be rented out for bachelor’s parties and other events.
Junior netball clinic runs on a Tuesday afternoon from 15:00 to 17:00.
