Areyeng Residence Home needs your help in hosting a Christmas party
Areyeng Residence Home for the mentally ill, which is situated at 19 Cyfret Crescent, Tedderfield, Eikenhof, is planning to have their Christmas party on December 7.
MOST organisations and institutions will, in the coming weeks, host Christmas parties for their clients and staff. Areyeng Residence will want to do the same, but they will need the assistance of the community.
Areyeng Residence Home for the mentally ill, situated at 19 Cyfret Crescent, Tedderfield, Eikenhof, is planning to have their Christmas party on December 7.
They do this every year to try and make it special for their residents.
Manager Katherine Mare said, “As you are aware, many of these residents do not have family and this can be a very hard time of the year for each of them.
“My request is that I need to get gifts together for each of them. I have managed to obtain towels and face clothes for each of them, but I need shirts, shoes, underwear, socks, caps to name a few to try give them all a special gift on the day.
“We usually have music for them and make salads and cold meat with pudding, a celebration most of us take for granted.
“Any assistance here would be greatly appreciated and would really go a long way in making this a special day for them.”
There are men and women who need clothes and shoes in different sizes.
